ALISON M. TRAINOR was born and raised on Long Island and was admitted to the New York Bar in 2004 and the New Jersey Bar in 2005.
Alison received a B.A., magna cum laude, in 1999 from New York University and received her J.D. in 2004 from Fordham Law School where she was a member of the Moot Court Mentor Executive Committee and served as the Assistant Editor of the Intellectual Property, Mass Media and Entertainment Law Journal.
After graduating from law school, Alison was a law clerk to the Hon. Edward V. Torack in New Jersey Superior Court, Family Part for the 2004 - 2005 term. Thereafter, she began working with Mark Holtzer exclusively on matrimonial and family law matters. Alison has experience in all phases of matrimonial law including the litigation of child custody and access schedules, complex financial issues involving separate and marital property, and the negotiation and drafting of pre-nuptial, post-nuptial and separation agreements.
